Does anybody know if the Mt. Vernon Trail will be accessible on the 4th of July? I’m thinking of riding down from Rosslyn with my kids and find a spot along the way to watch the fireworks from. Neither the NPS-GWMP or AC sites mention anything about trail closures. But I’d hate to find out the hard way once we’re already en route.
