    Hello Forum Members —

    I got a new helmet for the summer, but it doesn’t have a dorky visor. So I guess I need a cap. What do you all recommend for a cap that is very light for summer use? The whole reason I got a new helmet was that the old one felt like a furnace on my head in the summer, so don’t want to go from the frying pan to the fire. Does Walz work here, too?

    In anticipation of the arrival of shorts weather and our C&O trip this summer (not to mention training therefor), can anyone recommend non-lycra cycling shorts for my 12-year-old son (who wears men’s sizes)? Looking for something durable and comfortable for the long haul, but styled more like MTB or non-technical wearing apparel. He does not want to look ELITE, heaven forbid. Preferably something that would allow him to blend into his surroundings should a bus of 12-year-old girls roll past while he is on the bike.
