    I can help with Charlotte to Mooresville and from Mooresville north along 77 for about 50 miles. But you may try to shadow US 29…

    You may want to consider going north, but I don’t know specifics, to Blacksburg or maybe just the Blue Ridge Parkway. Take the Blue Ridge Parkway or the TransAmerica trail (BR76?) to Waynesboro/Charlottesville and then follow the route that Steve O is trying to develop in a different thread.

    That would certainly add hills. :-) The route I know up 77 will get you probably half way to the BRP.
