Good to meet you too and yeah. I think a bath and bourbon are in order tonight. Hope I can get up tomorrow for Crystal City Coffee Club and more shoveling.

I went in for 3 Advil, then a steaming hot shower, then later a hearty chili and a hefty glass of red wine.

Thanks it was fun to meet you all, sorry I left early I had to help a friend in Vienna s parents shovel their driveway before it got too much later.

Now… not being in Frozen Saddles this year, do I get to “donate” any pointless prize points I may have earned today to a lucky fellow shoveler??

How about to the guy who gave you the triple fist bump?

Nice to meet you all for shoveling today! And many thanks for the kind supply of water from at least 2 folks… dunno how I forgot to bring some!
Beautiful day for working in the sun, and boy, we did a damned good job, in my view! I think I should have probably stopped an hour sooner, and can’t imagine how sore I’ll likely be tomorrow… it was quite a workout, and no amount of miles biked in 2018 probably prepared me for that! (Who said something about all the cyclists and their noodle arms not equipped for shoveling? Hehehe!)

I’m allowing non-Freezing Saddles folks to participate to spice up the contest, but you have to post in the official QOT/KOT Thread here: http://bikearlingtonforum.com/showthread.php?14099-Pointless-Prize-KOT-and-QOT&p=185227#post185227

Your contribution will likely involve the awarding of multiple bonus points, so you probably should do it.

Thank you for coming out today and working for so long. It was nice to meet you.

Thank you so much for coming out today for as long as you could. It helped a lot. We were able to finish clearing to the 14th Street Bridge so folks are going to be able to make it across the river this week. Several folks that bike commute have expressed their appreciation on Twitter.

Don’t forget to post to the official thread so I can assign points. http://bikearlingtonforum.com/showthread.php?14099-Pointless-Prize-KOT-and-QOT&p=185227#post185227

It was great to meet you, Christob50 and Coppertop222! I posted some photos from today in the KOT/QOT thread.

If anyone else wants in on the snow shoveling fun, I’m planning to head out after tomorrow’s Cosi Crystal City Coffee Club to tackle the historically problematic areas by the 14th Street Bridge and the underpasses south of there.

You. Are. Superwoman! I don’t think any amount of Advil is going to get all my parts loosened up enough to move today.

MVT snow crew, here’s some further evidence that your efforts are noted, appreciated, and being put to good use: there were already at least five sets of tire tracks when I crossed the wooden bridge by the Pentagon at 7:15 this morning, and too many tracks to count when I crossed again two hours later. Thanks again for all of your hard work!
