ParticipantAnimal control picked him up around 8:30.
I wish their vehicle was more clearly marked. I was getting ready to tell someone they were horriblely lost.

ParticipantSnow on Friday? Really?
UPDATE: W. Post is now forecasting a coating to 2 inches in DC and close-in suburbs. Northern Montgomery Co. and Loudoun Co. could get 1-4 inches.

I’m riding through this on (wide) slicks.
I hope.

I reject this weather forecast. You will find me riding my skinny slicks, and/or stuck in a ditch somewhere.

ParticipantThe snow is starting to stick on some of the grassy areas, but so far the Arlington trails are just wet with lots of puddles and streams running across the pavement just to make it interesting. And why can’t drivers clear their windows so they can see what’s outside of their cars?

Because there’s nothing important out there.

Because even foggy and snowy windows still transmit UHF just fine.

ParticipantFirst street by Union State (aka Dodge City) construction. I didn’t stop to take pictures, but I can attest that the construction work on the last block from where the first street NE protected bikeway ends to Union Station was a big mess with construction this morning.

Interesting observations. Every time I’ve been on the roads this week, I’ve thought “man, traffic is light this week”. Even my Spring Break guests remarked at how little car traffic there was.
Not that I envy those stuck in cars on these beautiful afternoons.
