I would explicitly ask for an extension of the Bluemont junction trail to Glebe. I think this would look like a path on the south side of Fairfax from Glebe heading west that is separated from both the sidewalk and the roadway that allows for cycling in both directions. That path should have an improved connection. We may need more on the north side for the connection to the Custis, but I honestly don’t know whether that will be needed after we get the new cycletrack in conjunction with the Blue Goose development.
