We rescheduled for this Sunday (because last Sunday was gross) all other details are the same:
In the merry tradition of the three kings of the Orient setting off to bring gifts to a babe in a manger, representatives of Clarendon Presbyterian Church, Mount Olivet United Methodist Church and Restoration Anglican Church will be rolling out (on bikes) to re-stock AFAC, our local food bank! All are invited. We will circle up and leave from CPC (1305 N. Jackson St. Arlington, VA 22201) about 11:30 am on Sunday, January 12, 2014 (yes, this Sunday). We will ride past Mt Olivet and around the neighborhoods and trails of Arlington to gather our goods. The route will be (not too) long (7 miles) and (not too) hilly (many hills, but none as steep or as long as the Rosslyn hill). We’ll end up back at CPC, with food, drink and good cheer.
Please contact Gillian Burgess – gillian.burgessgmail.com – with any questions (no need to RSVP).
Happy Epiphany and all the best in 2014!
