    I believe it was a suspicious package, and the EOD (explosive ordinance disposal) team was called in. Unsurprisingly, it was a false alarm.

    Ah ha. I ran into that too and was diverted UP a hill which I was not expecting. Glad to know it wasn’t anything more (and that my I still pedal uphill albeit slowly).

    My trailer was full so I left a box on the sidewalk to be picked up later after I made a couple drops.

    I’m glad you did that – made my commute nicer, got to ride by the canal for a few blocks.
