    Someone called me and told me where he put it. I’m in Colorado. Can someone (dcv? hozn? GB?) grab it on the way by?

    He said it is hidden in the grass near a sign westbound just before gallows. The yellow traffic signal warning sign.

    I fly back Monday and can arrange to pick it up at a mutually convenient time.

    I’ll be out that way on Sunday. I’ll pick it up if it’s still there (and if I remember).

    Thank you! That might have been as tough on the mower blades as the lock.

    Hey all. Feel free to take down the signs since they’re no longer needed. I would, but I’m 1700 miles away. Thanks.

    Next to a sign I had never noticed before, westbound just before Gallows. Lying in the tall grass. Seemed like an odd place to put a lock.

    Heh that sign at Gallows was the source of great consternation to my kids when we were out that way.

    “Wow – how much do U-locks cost? Maybe that one has special memories for the person who lost it! Maybe it belonged to their parents who died in a plane crash.”
