Lost Garmin on W&OD in Falls Church

Someone just called me to tell me they found it while walking their dog yesterday morning. He said it was running and read about 30 minutes when he picked it up, so that would have been before I got back there to look for it.

Although I don’t recommend losing things along the trail, this is the second time I have put up signs and been rewarded with a call.

Adding your name and phone number to the home screen of some Garmins. While this wouldn’t have helped SteveO because he has a 500, DC Rainmaker gave instructions on how to add your name and phone to the home screen. I did it on my 800

I just stuck a waterproof label on mine using my P-touch. I’ve done the same thing with my phone.
