I understood dimensions of a 27.5+ wheel+tire would be similar/same as [non-plus] 29er, so maybe you could use a wheel from your Warbird with larger tire? (if unable to find a 27.5″)

Edit: this assumes compatible hub standard, of course. Probably a lot to expect these days.

The hub’s the rub. The dragonslayer has a boost 148 rear hub.

If I can get it quasi functional though for the trainer (is that even possible?), that might be an ok option. They’re both 12mm thru axles at least.

Yeah, I’d guess that you probably can’t put a 142×12 in a 148×12. Sorry Hopefully someone comes through with a 27.5+ option!
