I had the thumb lever on my Ergos go a couple of years ago and was told that the local expert for Campy stuff is Pinky at Revolution in Georgetown. The advice I received was to just go with the brifters (and not the whole bike) so they would charge less.
I ended up not going in the end, but I trusted the source of the recommendation so that’s my suggestion.

Thanks Chris. I may call there when they open at 11 and see what they say. I just noticed that the Bicycle pro Shop right next door to revolution says right on first page of its website that it fixes everything from whatever to ergo levers, so seems they advertise just the service i need and may try them.

I’ve been a long-time customer of BPS. Tom has done top-notch work for me on everything from the road bike to the commuter to the beater fixed gear. They are not cheap and sometimes the reception up at the front of the shop can be cold but b/c Tom has treated me well, I tend to send my money their way for service work that I can’t handle by myself
