    I stumbled on the forum shortly after picking up the bike commute in January, and have been following mostly regularly since the summer. It’s time to turn off the cloaking device, especially following this morning’s very nice impromptu demo of Moose Mitts this AM, courtesy of Dirt and OneEighth. My hands and I thank you; my wallet may moan a bit…

    And OneEighth, you’re right — what a nice commute we have, especially now that the fall colors have arrived! Every time I ride down the Custis, I think “Man, am I glad I’m not in one of those cars…”

    Hey! Great that you are now fully in the mix. I enjoyed meeting you this morning.
    And it really was a wonderful Fall morning. Just cool enough. Plenty of color left in the leaves. And, the tip of Hains was socked in by the fog so that you couldn’t see Ft. McNair or National Airport.

    Great to meet you. That was one of the best commutes EVAR! Next time I’ll have the bar mitts on board too so people can see how those look and feel. :D

    I had long wondered how the winter commuter could keep their levers clean in foul weather.

    I really need to start changing my route in the morning to figure out how a morning commute came to discuss that.

    Also the episode discussing that treaty was one of the finer TNG moments…
