Currently the gap between second place and the first is greater than the gap between second and seventh place. Of course the first place team is the Octos, aka team too cool to include the team number in the name as requested. It is obvious the members of second through seventh place teams have a common goal, find a way to convince the Octos to stop riding so much.

Well I tried knocking their leader down and separating his shoulder, but that didn’t work.

I tried feeding him lots of pie this morning to weigh him down. I think he just converted it into additional riding fuel. I think someone should invite Vin on a Saturday coffee ride, that does not actually go anywhere.

Saturday coffee ride, and then nobble him with decaf.

Octothorpe is a team effort, and the team is awesome.

rcannon100, we may have to nobble them all.

Lots of pies sounds like a good start. How about banana bread with the amount of butter in the recipe doubled.

Yall are talking about a guy who is fueled by BK and DD. Pretty sure you gotta go to the opposite end of the spectrum with something like kale.

Be more devious. Reprogram’s Vincent’s phone so that it subtracts every mile he rides from his total. Then encourage him to ride more.

Seriously, they have three riders in the top 10.

I of course blame Steve 0.

I think the pie strategy should be employed again next Friday just so that we can confirm whether or not it is effective. I think science demands this.

The real solution (as an innocent bystander) is to ride more. If you are within a team century of them (1100pts?), you’re not really that far behind. Corollary: if you are within a team double century of them you’re still not really that far behind.

Next you try to tell me I am to be judged on my actual merits and not those my merits my mother told me I had.
