Your chances are pretty good. We use some people who register after the deadline to even out the sizes of teams. We then always have some people who register but fail to show up, so the next people to register are used to replace them.
Do remember to join the Freezing Saddles 2021 Strava club and to authorize Freezing Saddles to read your miles, though. Those things are necessary to get your miles/points counted.
Obviously, the later people register, the less likely chuxtr will be able to put them onto a team. That is especially true this year, because we already had 244 people register and 250 is the maximum the back end can handle, which means we may not be able to put the very last registrants even onto a straggler team. But it’s still better to register now than never.
