Last commute of the year

    Looks like tonight will be the last commute of the year, since our office is closed tomorrow. My computer says 6,082 miles since I installed it on Jan 3, 2011. That’s not accurate, though, since I’ve used the commuter bike for some non-commute rides and I’ve also commuted on the cross bike (no computer) quite a bit this year. But’s it a fun number to throw around just the same.

    I figured out that for 2011 I pedaled as many miles as I drove my car give or take 100 miles. Yeah, I’m one of those people that only has to change the car’s oil and filter once every 1.5 years.
