    Not cool in the least. If anyone else here experienced that this morning, I don’t think following up Pete’s call with one of your own would be a bad idea.

    I haven’t heard back from them yet. If I don’t get a satisfactory answer, I’ll post up. Hopefully this will be a “Yeah, we got that under control. Sorry ’bout that.” response. The sidewalk would be passable for a walker who is careful. A cyclist with good winter riding skills could have crossed it without too much incident. Experiencing that much ice isn’t unusual… doing so because they’re watering the lawn when it is 28 degrees out is kinda silly.

    It is worse today. There’s a 20′ section at the end of the Roosevelt Bridge that is solid ice.

    Sounds like a broken pipe or valve.

    They purged the irrigation system and it poured out onto the trail and road. It was all fixed today and the trail was clear.
