July 13th FABB-WABA Event: Social Ride in Merrifield-Vienna, Mosaic District

Just out of curiosity.. of those who attend the FreshBikes weekly ride out of Mosaic… how many of those folks ride to the shop compared to driving (with their bikes on the car)?

I think more that half ride there — I don’t go every week, but when I do, I ride. Dcv and I believe acc also ride there. Of course our fearless leader Dirt rides there and everywhere else, too.

It tends to attract commuting cyclists on their way home, so far. That may change as it gets more popular.

Oh gosh, I was thinking most are riding in. I know when it gets very hot some people choose to peel off and ride home rather than come back to the shop.

Yeah, most are riding in for sure.

Riding in the Merrifield-Vienna area can be intimidating. But with the arrival of the Mosaic District, and additional bike lanes along Gallows Road, there are new ways to get around and great destinations within reach of Vienna and Dunn Loring.
