It appears that I’ve got a new fan club. I blogged about it and thought I’d share.

In spite of all of this, I actually enjoyed my commute this morning. It just shows me that we’ve got a long way to go before we can really call anything in this area friendly… whether it be bike friendly, pedestrian friendly or car friendly. In spite of many people’s best efforts, we have a long, long way to go.

Rock on! Please do so safely.

    Love,

    Pete

He sounds like a delightful human being. I hope the entire rest of his trip was full of jersey walls and backed up cars.

It’s a shame there weren’t nails on the sidewalk he was driving down.

    . . . And you are a blogger, too!

He put others at risk, too. Do you suppose in his blind rage he was really checking the sidewalk before going off-road to prove his point? Hopefully no pedestrians were in the vicinity, or they would have gotten the fright of their day.

Your point is well taken, Pete — we all need to listen to the angels of our better nature.

I tend to listen to my Rice Krispies. Snap, Crackle and Pop have never lead me wrong. ;)

But seriously. Thanks Liz. I’ve had to work pretty hard at times to let calmness prevail. Oddly enough, this morning wasn’t one of those times. I did okay with handling it.
