Reach out to bikenurse (Laurie Lemieux) at Proteus Bikes in College Park, an esteemed member of this forum. Laurie is the owner and fitter at Proteus and, as her forum username indicates, is a nurse by training. Her combination of skills sounds like a perfect fit to assist you. Plus she’s pretty wonderful to boot and runs a great, truly independent, local bike shop. And they’ve got a killer cafe in-store too!!!!

In case anyone else has this question/need in the future: I also called my local bike shop, and they suggested physical therapist Renee Roth Powers. I recently consulted with her and she was so helpful – knowledgeable physical therapist and cyclist. She evaluated me and also got me on the bike using her trainer. Very helpful advice. Highly recommend. https://www.fundamentalmotion.com/about-2/renee-roth-dpt/
