But that BB is threaded, right … ?

But BSA BBs do *creak*; squeaking i usually associate with something needing oil/grease. Maybe chip off a little paint where you wont’ notice it and see if the crack is in the carbon. Or just bring it to the Specialized shop and they should be able to tell you pretty quickly? (And warranty it?)

Yeah, it’s an English Threaded BB. I’m going to take it to my local FreshBikes authorized Specialized dealer and have them look at it. Now to find my old receipts proving ownership.
