So you’ll be riding it to FCC this Friday right.
I wish. I’d have to take the kids to school, so the earliest I’d make coffee club after dropping them and going home to switch bikes would be 930.

You could tow the new bike using the Longtail, then lock up the long tail at school and ride the new bike to FCC. Just saying.

Plus you might need a few days to grow the mustache that you’ll need to ride fixed.

ParticipantI’m going mustache free to be extra ironic.
And the idea of subjecting the new bike to the indignity of being towed – I may faint.

ParticipantI’m pretty sure Jon is a shave twice a day guy. He can grow a full beard in about three hours.

Yeah, that’s more or less true. But I usually only let it go longer than 4 days or so in the winter.

I see a handlebar mustache in your future then. Buy some wax!

ParticipantI had FedEx direct it to my house, figured since I didn’t bid against you, I should at least ride it first. In all seriousness, congrats John… you’ve been talking about that exact bike for some time now.

Appreciate it. If I see another one up for sale you’ll be the first to know.

ParticipantQuestion – do you think I can get a box with a bike in it on the back of the Xtracycle? It only has to go maybe 6 blocks. FedEx is delivering tomorrow and no one is at home during the day so I’m having it dropped at the FedEx store but there’s no parking and even if there was it’s disrespectful to put a new bike in the car before you ride it. And I don’t really want to put it together at FedEx.
Thinking about stopping in on the way home to check the size of the box then going back for it without the kids.
