Some of y’all might have had a chance to talk with her at Proteus or on the ride in to DC at this year’s #TJROW

I saw her speak at Conte’s (now Freshbikes) a couple years ago. She gave a talk about nutrition during endurance races. She is also featured in the two “Race Across the Sky” documentaries (covering the Leadville 100 mountain bike race). I don’t follow mountain biking that much, but I know about Rebecca.

Is she the rider (from the documentary) that was in the awful accident that broke her back (but recovered to ride again)?

She was here a little while back… did a talk on nutrition and endurance at Freshbikes (back wihen it was Conte’s). She was in town for the National Bike Summit in March… hanging around and talking to folks during and after the TJROW and Summit. Her boyfriend (Greg — also a pretty dang kick-ass cyclists) have been trying to get her to do the Shenandoah Mountain 100. Greg is from West Virginia… I think it hasn’t fit into her race schedule yet. She sounded interested in riding it though.
