Where did you get them? The only place online (with decent prices) that I’m familiar with is Chain Reaction.

I know one shop that has a pair of the studded Schwalbe marathons left… 35mm width

Have you bought anything from Wiggle …. Wiggle just sounds like it would be sketchy!

Wiggle is great. Their dhb items are particularly awesome for the money. Their dhb flashlight series in particular for those commuting. I have purchased many many things from them.

I’ve also purchased from Wiggle. Very pleased with them.

another +1 on wiggle. They’re legit, and can have good prices with free shipping. (As always, shop around.)

That’s where I got them. I’ve been watching prices all summer and finally pulled the trigger from Chain Reaction at about $53 per.

One thing to note is that the sizing on the tires has the Euro markings which in this case is 28×2 on the tire itself and then 50-622 on the Schwalbe package. I freaked out a bit more doing some digging and figuring out that converts to 700c and about 40 on the width. Also, I just mounted one up to make sure it fit my 700c wheel :)

I never understood why we are supposed to follow some random rules that a bunch of dudes put together on some website.

Change “website” to “book”, and you basically described the entirety of human history….

I have always wondered what those numbers meant!!!! The 28 in particular always threw me off too. (As if tire selection wasn’t confusing enough as it is and always involves multiple spreadsheets and matrices before I can make a decision…)
