I once ordered and fell in love with the Nepalese veggie samosas made in tandoori (clay oven) and served as an appetizer.

    Cathy presents Baku Delicious

Hitting this store is like traveling to Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey. Here, you can sample Turkish coffee, Azerbaijani shorgogals, Russian bakery, baklava, and many other foods and drinks. View their video here.

I had Turkish coffee and veggie gutap there and bought Azerbaijani pomegranate wine and condensed milk. You can’t see gutap in the photo. I ate it immediately. :)

    Cathy presents Chabad-Lubavitch Synagogue (Russian)

Chabad-Lubavitch is a philosophy, a movement, and an organization. It is considered to be the most dynamic force in Jewish life today. “Lubavitch” is the name of the town in White Russia where the movement was based for more than a century. Appropriately, the word Lubavitch in Russian means the “city of brotherly love.”

And then this hospitable Rebbe with a great sense of humor came outside to greet and tell us about the history of Chabad-Lubavitch.

This is an Azerbaijani Pomegranate wine they sell at Baku. After both Serdar and a woman who was a customer in the shop recommended it, I decided I had to buy a bottle.
