My daughter took a good strike to the head on concrete steps and suffered one and in all honesty she was every bit of two-three months before any semblance of “normal”. I had a medium headache for almost 24 hours (and I rode gently the remaining 4 miles to the office). A few days later, I felt slightly headachy again a couple of times, though that could have been sinus related. I wasn’t quite on my game for about 2 weeks. Just chiming in with my own support for getting your council member involved. As KLizotte notes, a simple call often gets attention in a way a call from a citizen rarely does.
