When I was in Orlando for work last week it was pretty easy to go to ridewithgps.com, search “Orlando” and get a bunch of rides starting within 5 miles of my location. Even easier was the ability to use the site’s Garmin Write feature to add the route to the garmin. Hard to overstate how great that feature is.

Yeah I know. It’s hard to understate how great it is to bicycle in Florida in the winter too. Though I’d rather heli-ski in British Columbia. Buy the best GPS you can. I did.

And this year I am focusing on road racing, so may do zero epic-length rides.

    Let’s coordinate on race schedules…

Okie doke! My simple goal is to finish my 10 for cat 4. May get a chance to race a couple as cat 4 later in season. Excited to have another go at Page Valley Road Race, hopefully as cat 4 for the longer course.

I hope you’ll do Tour de Tysons again this year: my kids had a great time rooting for “the guy in the neon green helmet.” I had a great time saying, “yeah, I know that guy.” :)

Where did you park that bike you were going to leave me? I can’t find it anywhere, and all these vespas are bolted to the ground.

I’m hoping the new RideWithGPS ambassador program takes off. I like their site, and that the creators are just cyclist-developers.

    More about it here:
