Great fun! Nice way to start the Friday, even if I didn’t have time for coffee club.

Thanks, Pete! It was fun. Made me late to work, oh well.

It was an action packed a.m. after my stop at Swings — Arlingtonrider and I witnessed a car hit a cyclist’s trailer as she turned from 17th onto G. She did roll down her window but was totally unapologetic. She got out of there in a hurry when I got my camera out. I think the cyclist was okay, he rode on.

Then, as I was about to ride into my parking garage, a limo in front of me stopped to discharge passengers. Guess who got out? Richard Gere!

I missed the photo op at the intersection of doom since I had peeled off at the Veitch St access, but am the second to the last rider on americancyclo’s photo of the group crossing the Custis Trail’s Sprout Run overpass (Bikenetic jersey).

The “official” Bikenetic ride departed 30 mins later…

I didn’t even have any coffee or food at Swing’s, there were so many people at FCC to talk to. And the line was long – we should get a M.E. Swing’s sponsored bike or something.

    (Elevenses can’t come soon enough.)

Glad I made it before the big crew rolled out. It was really cool to see so many people, both FCC regulars and non. And great to see Bilsko back on a bike.

If this is a regular thing, let me know when you get to Cherrydale, and I’ll jump on then…

I was wondering how there just happened to be so many of my Virginia friends at #FCC this morning. :D I had no idea that you all convoyed over. Great idea! Really enjoyed seeing everyone.

I’ll try to make it next week (who knows, I may not have to go to work! :P )

I totally missed this. It does explain the rather low turnout at FCCII this morning though.

If we’re all furloughed, we can have the Tour de FCC.
