7 is about as late as I can normally do, so I’ll have to skip this one.

I helped with the first Shirlington HDCC, but I think Consularrider’s idea was that it would be an ongoing thing. I plan to be there close to 7 a.m. on Weds.

I may be able to make it again this week. Have to see how much work I get done on my gravel rig. It needs a complete overhaul before Idaho… somehow I need to do that without disturbing the Kansas dirt that accumulated on the frame.

Hope to see y’all Wednesday morning.

Pretty certain the Mrs. and I will be there again, looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces before I head off to Canada for the long weekend.

I plan to be there and one of my Bob’s mentioned he got an invite from a gray haired lady on a women’s Roubaix.

    Clear coat!

HDCC is a nice concept, since FCC is one of the only reasons I end up leaving the house on time on Fridays. Maybe I can get to work on time two days a week now!

Or in my case, at least on Wednesdays. Chris, thanks for coming up with this fantastic idea. We needed this. ;)

I picked a few 2013 DC bike maps at WABA Headquarters yesterday and will bring them to HDCC tomorrow, in case anyone needs or would like one.

Also, Best Buns is going to make an early batch of their awesome bacon cheddar scones, just in case anyone likes such things. :p

HDCC vOcracoke: DismalScientist, ShawnoftheDread, JeremyCannon, rcannon100 and SAG team. HDCC vOcracoke had 13 attendees. How many did y’all have at Best Buns (just asking ;) )

HDCC Best Buns had a good group of at least eleven people today, even with rain and March on Washington telework options, but you guys look a whole lot more relaxed! Love the photo – great to see you all having fun down there! Awesome SAG team. :D

(Just a heads up for future reference – Hump Day Coffee Club up here is definitely an early bird event. It seemed like Consularrider and most of the others were there by around 7 a.m. Pete and I were the last to roll out – around 8:45 or so. We didn’t take a photo, but it was a nice get-together with Consularrider, Dickie, Pete D., Jason K., Andy, Matt Aune, Dirt, Melanie, sjclaeys, RandoGuy and me (apologies if I left anyone out – that’s who I can think of right now).

Thank you so much for setting up HDCC, Kathy! It is a really nice addition to the week. It makes me happy. :D

Thanks, but Consularrider should get most of the credit for this, not me. It was his fantastic idea. I just try to help it along. It makes me happy too and definitely makes getting to work more fun!

Thanks for stopping by yesterday – it was great to see you and interesting to hear all about your Idaho plans. Have a great trip!

While Dickie and I first discussed it, you gave it its own thread so that it will live on in infamy. ;)

This week at Hump Day Coffee Club, let’s celebrate getting the kiddies off to the first week of school with coffee, monkey bread, and good conversation. Anyone for Hump Day, First Week of School Coffee Club (HDFWSCC)?
