I got my cross-country skis out of the shed before I went for today’s ride. I was thinking about going out late this afternoon, but ended up doing the first pass of shoveling out and cleaning off the car for my wife. If the feds are closed tomorrow, I’ll ski to Best Buns, did that during the February 2010 and the only place open was Johnny Rockets so I had coffee and a slice of apple pie.

Just heard on the news re: Fed. Gov’t – up to 2 hrs leave on Weds. morning for delayed arrivals. Options for unscheduled leave or telework.

Yeah, bummer. Looks like I have to try to ride to Shirlington after clearing the snow at home. Hope to arrive at Best Buns by 8:30.
