ParticipantYeah, it’s kind of surreal to be having a group discussion with a spammer. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before, anywhere on the Internetz.

ParticipantI love the idea of lasers on bicycles, but these seem to do nothing in terms of “ninja elimination or negation.” Pass.

they’re actually almost completely useless as far as lighting goes

ParticipantMY first post after trolling around for a little while;
I got one of these two weeks ago. It works very well, I haven’t ridden on a brightly lit street, just the average one around the District and it could be seen very well. Of course I would need to post a video as Certified has done (nicely done btw) to show you guys.
But I did not purchase the spammers product. I went looking around on E-bay and found this one, it seems bigger than the spammers stuff so maybe that’s why it worked better.

ParticipantSo I decided to video those laser lights.. I tried shortly after this post but broke the plastic mount (because its cheap shizz made in China) and could not do it… Ordered another one and shot this tonight.
This is also the first time I have fallen down while riding clip-less. Very embarrassing, lucking no one was around to see it and I held onto my go-pro, trying to save it from disaster. The lens got scratched bad…. dam it.
Light for certifried, me failing and falling for everyone else

ParticipantSuffering for science, what a hero! Thanks. Sorry about the lens getting scratched. Maybe Carlie Rea ( wasn’t that the original spammer?) can hook you up with a Chinese cam. :rolleyes:

ParticipantHere’s a cool light concept. It projects a grid on the ground, which will be parallel lines when the ground is flat, and curved or deformed lines when there are bumps. Seems like it might take a bit of getting used to, but once you were used to it you could get a much better idea of how flat the ground is in front of you.

ParticipantMajor LOL. I opened the forum to post that very same link from BB and found your post. Someone must have had a nasty intersection with a pothole somewhere. Guess I should just post the link to the life size Lego X Wing Fighter.
