Hmm… so Boingboing is definitely in my top two or three favorite websites. (Also, RealUltimatepower.net – These guys are cool; and by cool, I mean totally sweet. )

I wonder what #1 is? Besides http://www.bikearlingtonforum.com, of course.

    “Testimonial:
Ninjas can kill anyone they want! Ninjas cut off heads ALL the time and don’t even think twice about it. These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time. I heard that there was this ninja who was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon the ninja killed the whole town. My friend Mark said that he saw a ninja totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window.”

I’m sorry. I couldn’t help myself – I haven’t visited my favorite website in a couple years and its too tear-inducingly funny not to share (and/or submit you to)

Bringing this thread back to the OP’s original topic… here’s another “loud” noise making device (76 or 96dB possible). Apparently not a car horn noise, so questionable as to whether it would produce the intended affect with motorists…also, doesn’t exist yet – only Kickstarter: http://urbanvelo.org/orp-smart-horn/

I backed this when it first came out last week. I think it’s a pretty neat idea, and a bit more “cultured” than my current air horn.

My 2 year old called my newborn a “spit up ninja” yesterday. We may be a bit too into cycling in our family.
