I have very fond memories of that ride. It was a lot of fun and Greenbelt is the absolute best at leading. Seems to me Eminva was involved last year too. It is a terrific opportunity to ride in DC if you don’t usually do that. I learned a lot on that ride about riding on the streets downtown. The gifts at the DC market are unique, I found two bicycle t-shirts, one is even clean enough to wear in public but definitely not the one with the mustache in place of handlebars.
If you get cold, and I have a hard time keeping my core warm, there are buildings to escape into to warm up. I think I was in the National Portrait Gallery last year and found another exquisite gift shop.
If I weren’t responsible for making sure no one breaks their neck in the moon bounce, I’d be there this year. But how could I possibly pass up the chance to play in a moon bounce in my backyard? Sacrifices have to be made.
