Hayes Street Bike Lanes

Anyone know if there are plans to extend the army navy bike lanes further east? After blocking two of the three lanes as part of the Hayes St construction they clearly have proven that Army Navy drive could easily undergo a road diet.

Army Navy Dr Cycle Track
Project will consist of a “road diet” on the existing travel lanes on Army Navy Drive, including removal of the median, to provide room for a two-way dedicated bicycling facility on the south side of the ROW, alongside the existing sidewalk. Will also include driveway apron and traffic signalization modifications.
Construction Completion FY 2017

Construction along Hayes Street is wrapping up, but a section of the bike lane might be challenging, especially for skinny tires. Just before 15th Street, sections of the concrete seams run right through the bike lane.
