Happy PI(e) Day Everyone!

It’s March 14 and time to celebrate the goodness which is PI(e). After this morning’s commute, I’ve done half of my PI(e) ride – 15.52 miles.

I celebrated the day by visiting the pie truck parked on Virginia Avenue today. Somehow I doubt my not quite pi (28 miles and change) round trip commute will make up for the indulgence, but I have to honor the spirit of the day, no? Plus, what cyclist doesn’t love a slice of pie now and then?

Pi day is awesome. I use it as an excuse to add an “e” and dine on pie all day.

But that’s Tri not PI? Just padding my stats, and it looks like carrot cake tonight instead of PI(e). Got to eat the leftovers first.

I’d chuckle if I weren’t so upset about the NPS.

(I was going to post a long rant here but I’ll take that to a new thread. I won’t swear but I sure will air some of my grievances with NPS.)
