Is that your bike in the photo? You should be able to attach those brake levers to bullhorns, but in my opinion it would be a little janky. Not only would they look odd being reversed, the cable routing would look fugly. You should be able to find some inexpensive “aero levers” (Cane Creek, for example) and they will work great and look better than traditional levers flipped around, AND you could route the cables UNDER the bar tape for a great clean look.

I just took the 44cm Bullhorns (these, from Soma: http://www.somafab.com/archives/product/urban-pursuit-handlebar ) off my bike along with the 110mm Nitto Pearl Quill Stem (which is definitely not compatible with your threaded headset).

I ran Soma’s Urban Pursuit Lever (front brake only) on them and it was an OK setup – the bars were way too big for me so I just replaced them with some road drops and a single Paul Comp Cross lever;

The main compatibility parameters you’ll want to keep in mind are:

–Handlebar diameter for your stem (can be 25.4, 26 or 31.8 – the last two being the more widely used standards)
–The attachment diameter for the brake lever (22, 23.8, or 31.8, depending on the bar type and where on the bar you want to mount them) – the best resource for info on this the paulcomp.com brakelever page
–The brake type that your lever is attaching to: short pull vs. long pull ( short pull for cantilever, road calipers, etc. long pull for v-brakes, linear pulls, or discs – again paulcomp.com is your friend here)

If you find that you can use a set of Soma urban pursuit horns (with a 25.4 clamp size and 44cm width), let me know. Same goes for the bar-end brake.
