Greenbelt
ParticipantBento box? (Gel/fuel bar holder).
I have one of these on my commuter bike, and it can fit a small camera, or a headlight battery pack plus a Clif Bar etc.

ParticipantThose little bento boxes work awesome. That’s what I used for my camera for a while (now I just stuff it in a pocket). The only suggestion I have is to make sure the one you get firmly attaches to the bike. An extra zip-tie or two might be necessary.

ParticipantThanks those recommendations. However, this will mount on a cross bike with the cables running along to top side of the top tube. Thus, that bag will not work so well.

ParticipantWith my S90, I’ve always used a small lowepro pouch with a belt clip, and attached it to the frame via a velcro strap (like the ones light batteries attach with).

Actually I mount one on the top tube of a CX bike, just right over those cables on the top tube — it stays put fine. Just don’t tighten it down too much!

ParticipantI actually velcro mine vertically to the side of the steerer (above the top of the headset, below the stem). If you have an inch or so of spacers it works well.

ParticipantThank everyone. I will consider this. @Jabberwocky do you have any pictures of how you mount it up?

Forgive my messy basement, its laundry night.
Camera is a Canon S90, case is a Lowepro Rezo 30: http://www.amazon.com/Lowepro-3439010-Rezo-30-Black/dp/B00012FVYC
The case has a belt loop thingy that I just fasten to the steerer with a spare velcro strap from one of my dinotte batteries. Works great, the camera is at my right hand, and I can leave the top open enough that I can get it out while riding.November 6, 2012 at 1:55 am #954938dcv

ParticipantLOLOLOLOL You know what, I have one those Lowe Pro cases. I just never thought it would work very well on my bike. I will give it a try with some velcro straps.
Thanks so much.
