Hains Point Circle of Cycles

That sounds like a good way to start off the year (and show off my new bike). I’ve never been to Circle of Cycles – is it pretty much an all-day thing?

Last year it seemed that most people left shortly after noon. I just checked the weather. A little dicey – lots of 50% chance of precip on the hourly forecasts, so could go either way. Would love to see the new ride! Coffee club works too.

CWG keeps lowering the probablity of precip tomorrow so I think that the worst we’ll see are a few flakes or drizzly cold rain. Hains Point in the morning and then Pho in Old Town with Crysb around lunch could be a really good way to bring in the new year!

I’m planning to do both! Hains Point is sort of on my way to Alexandria, so I’m down for at least a few laps. Not sure what time I’ll get to Hains Point because I’m going to try to bring my better half, too.

I think we’re going to have a couple Proteus regulars riding down, probably get there about noon. (And maybe we’ll get to the Old Town meetup too.)

I’m thinking the weather will be fine…

I do this ride every year and am planning to be there tomorrow. Which bike will depend on what the weather looks like in the morning.
