Glad you revived this thread, SteveO. With the lack of chatter I was starting to wonder if people were still planning on showing up. Be careful with your cape design!

Kurt is the expert on getting capes stuck in moving bike parts.
Mrs. Lumberjack and I have our Oscar and Grundgetta Grouch costumes almost ready. If anyone needs a ride we can also fit two more bikes/people in the car.

Cape commission given to Mom O. Carefully measured to avoid usowskalypse.

ParticipantWhat time are people planning on arriving/starting to ride? Looks like the 32 miler has an official role out of 10AM based on their FAQ, so we could shoot for that.

ParticipantI’m riding a tandem with a group of four tandems and a single from MWABA (the Metro Washington Association of Blind Athletes). Karla and I are planning on doing either the 53 or 67 mile route depending on weather and how we’re feeling. Hopefully see many of you there! -Shira

The rest stop for the 32 mile route is Old Bust Head which opens at 10 am sos we could roll out at 9 am feasibly. Possible rain on Saturday bu the forecast has moved some throughout the week.

ParticipantToo much going on in life to work on a costume this year. Thus unencumbered, I’m planning on doing the long route. I can take one other rider and bike (although FFG may have dibs).

I’m sure this is just a ruse and you’re going to show up full on Snuffaluffagus.

Dr. Teeth could be ready to ride at 9.

Participant9:30 might be safer. The SO doesn’t finish up his night shift until 7:15 or so and will need to run home to get his costume/bike before we drive over, so 9:30 might be a safer bet and cause a little less stress on our end… I’ll try to get him to bring them with him, but who knows if that’ll be successful.

ParticipantIt looks like Judd, Samantha, Robyne and Steve O will be arriving in Warrenton around 9:30. The chance of rain has moved to 10%! Hooray.
