Anyone have a good link illustrating the various MarioCart characters? Since Bentbike Jr. got his driver’s license he has no interest in driving-oriented video games.

This thing won’t display full size so:
http://mysims.wikia.com/wiki/File:Mario_Kart_Wii_Characters.PNGThat’s a good start but Google image search any list of characters in Mario or Donkey Kong would be fair play. There’s probably more than 100 recognizable characters to chose from.

ParticipantPrincess Peach it is then. I dont know why I tried to kid myself and think I’d do anything other than a pink princess.

We need Steve Claeys to be regular Luigi now.

ParticipantAll right, quick roll call:
Leo: Cloud guy
Erin: Princess Peach
Steve O: WaLuigiJosephine?
Judd?
Robyne?
Chris?Who else is coming?
I’m leaning towards Donkey Kong or Bowser right now, but if we don’t have a Mario or Luigi by the end of the night, I’ll take one of those instead.

ParticipantI’m in for the ride, but not feeling the costume vibe. Based on the weather forecast, I’ll likely be dressed as “Rain Suit Guy” along with many others.

ParticipantI’ll be there in my Yoshi kigurumi. I do have a music gig that evening (at B Chord Brewery in Bluemont) so if the weather is crappy (let’s hope the forecast improves) I may not ride the long route.

This is a good point. When I checked the forecast last night, it was 60% chance of rain in the cold. I’m hoping the forecast improves. If not, I will also be rain suit guy with a brief Mario character appearance for picture taking.
There’s still time for Leo to make a cardboard Yoshi to tie on to your recumbent.

Ugh, this is worth keeping an eye on. (big storm potentially coming this weekend). I’m in the same boat as Jesse. If it’s cold and rainy, I’ll likely do a shorter ride. I learned the hard way last year that I do not find any enjoyment in cold, wet rides.
Here’s hoping the storm misses us…

ParticipantI’m registered. Figured out how to get out there -!
Probably no costume, and definitely the short ride! (32)I’m hoping for no rain!

ParticipantI’m planning to repurpose last year’s turtle costume and go as a Koopa Troopa. Depending on the weather, however, my costume might be “Koopa Troopa masquerading as a rain-suited cyclist.”

ParticipantWhew, so glad I haven’t spent many hours over the past month making an elaborate costume out of mostly cardboard and water soluble paint, that would be terrible in a big rain storm
