Gravelly point cyclist Uber crash 11-15-2016

Just reporting what I saw yesterday. At around 5:15 pm or so, I was riding southbound on the MVT and getting to the section where the trail crosses the entrance/exit to the gravelly point parking lot. There was a stopped Uber in the crosswalk, and a cyclist sitting upright on the ground in front of his car. He was holding his head/face in his hands, but there was no blood and he looked up a few times. Another cyclist was with him, I asked if anyone called 911 and the other cyclist said they were waiting for an ambulance.

I continued on at that point since I didn’t want to be one of the tons of people that invariably ends up hanging around a bike crash victim that really can’t add anything to the situation. I didn’t see what happened and I don’t know who he was. Just reporting it, maybe someone else saw something, knows something.

I passed around there at 5:30ish. Police were at the scene. Didn’t know what was going on, and it was dark, but it looked like everything was being handled well.
