Amazon seems to carry them at the same or lower prices, with free shipping, and Amazon has excellent service.

And check craigslist. They aren’t often on there, but sometimes.

I heartily recommend Striders, though; they are very light which I think helps a lot (esp. with the smaller kids). My 3-year-old has a pedal bike which he knows how to ride now, but still loves riding his Strider. I just caved in an ordered him the XL seatpost so we can keep the dream alive. (I figure we’ll go mountain biking this summer and that would probably be a better choice for him to ride on the trails.)
