    I think he is talking about the, why dont people signal when passing, post. The tail end is a little uncomfortable. Trolling should be left on youtube. We are all friends here!

    It hasn’t been bad, but I’ve been on a forum that was once useful and degenerated into All Troll, All the Time, and it was sad. This forum is nowhere near that, but sometimes people still need to remember that we’re all awesome here.

    I wasn’t trolling. I was just stating my opinion. Groupthink isn’t very helpful either is it?

    I think anytime you get into a philosophical discussion such as correct etiquette there’s going to be opinions one way or the other. It’s such an impersonal medium also, you never really know how it’s truly meant and as a result it can be easy to misconstrue.

    Not sure I’ve had all the necessary shots…

    Oh for heaven’s sake- yes- it has been a hot frustrating week. I had trouble getting anything out of Spartacus (it certainly wasn’t my fault). I was lured into “extra” riding yesterday before the Chariot Races @ Wakefield and big surprise when I overheated like a freight train after the second hour. That was a foreseeable mistake. And I hate it when I screw up something simple.

    And yes, we are all colleagues and in this weird world together. Emphasis on together.

    I wasn’t calling out anyone in particular, I was just noticing that the general tone of conversation today has sometimes been less pleasant than it usually is. I was hoping to head that off and keep this a nice place to talk about bikes and biking.
