Someone has an office with a window? Man, I wish *I* had an office with a window.

Beautiful downtown Rosslyn! I used to look up the hill at Tim’s office.

Aww too cool! When I see those on the road I will acknowledge the mark of the badass.

Bummer that I was ineligible from day one due to holiday travel.

This makes it all worth going out in the blizzard.

I just told my 11-year-old son that I could win one of these hats if I ride one more day. I pointed to the regular cap and told him that I’d probably choose it over the skullcap, and when I pointed to the skullcap he said, “well, I don’t think anyone would look good in that.” Sorry, BikeArlington: sixth grade sensibilities are where it’s at.

It’s not about looking good (I’m old enough to not care), it’s about staying warm. I’m going with the skullcap. Combine that with snugglefestival’s Team 12 gaiter and I’ll not only be a riot of colors but quite warm for next year’s Freezing Saddles.

And also the butt of many sixth-grade jokes, apparently. ;)

Uh, fingers crossed, you will be the butt of the seventh-grade jokes next year. Those are even more immature.

Oooh! I already have plenty of skull cap type things, but no bicycle caps. Hope that they are not too small for my noggin. ;)

I’d say with most skullcaps, it’s a technical item that shouldn’t be worn just on it’s own. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, when the helmet comes off the skullcap comes off too.

This is true of most cycling gear, isn’t it? :p

On several of my rides, when the helmet comes off, the skullcap goes on. And vice versa.
