DC Rainmaker posted a Tip of the Day that shows how you can add your name and phone number to the start-up message that displays when you first turn on your Garmin. This tip will work on the Edge 510, 800 and 810. You will need to have your Garmin connected to a computer.

Bumping this tip on how to customize your Garmin with your contact information. This tip works on the new Garmin Edge and I suspect will work on any Garmin that you can access the Startup.txt file from a computer.

Bumping this post again. A friend asked this morning how to add contact information to his Garmin. This tip should work on most Garmins.
