Fun Ride – Volunteers Needed!

The Arlington Fun Ride is just around the corner!! Phoenix already has 80 people registered for the event – people always register last minute too so we’re expecting well over 100 participants. Look out BikeDC, the Arlington Fun Ride is taking over!

BikeArlington hosts one of the pit stops in Rosslyn where we hand out bananas, granola bars, cow bells and water!! We are looking for 3 volunteers to give Tim a hand (I unfortunately won’t be here). Please let us know if you can help. It’ll be in the morning, between 9am and 11am (times to be confirmed). This year the ride is starting in Crystal City and will be going clockwise.

Depending on logistics, you may need to help Tim carry some boxes down to the pit stop location (Gateway Park). If that’s the case you will meet Tim at our offices (1501 Wilson Blvd), but if not, you can meet him down at the corner of Lynn and Lee St at the Park.

If you’re uncomfortable riding on the MVT, you could take the trail along 110, to Memorial Drive, to the trail along Washington Blvd/27, then through the tunnel to Hayes St which becomes 18th and brings you to the start finish.
