ParticipantWeather forecast for Friday evening is low 40s with rain and gusts of wind to 40MPH. Sounds like PRIME BAFS weather. Get ready to PR one half of Hains Point.

Weather’s an inexact science, so who knows what it’ll be like – some forecasts have the rain/snow/wind ending earlier in the day so it’ll just be 30s but calm-ish and dry-ish. Hope springs eternal…

ParticipantThe current NOAA hourly forecast has most of the crazy weather before noon on Friday. Rain should end by early afternoon, with the winds down below 10mph just after sunset. In like a lion, out like a lamb…

I REALLY prefer freezing – need a few more freeze points. Thought I had until the end of the month to get to my goal…

Event gurus- happy to bring the party Mini down again and wondering how best I could safely provide snacks etc. in the Covid environment. Gloves? Sanitizer? Disposable plastic tarp for the trunk? Hand sanitizer give always? Any thoughts/suggestions? Trying to do something safely if feasible.
Can i contribute some mead to your tailgate? Any special requests? I can probably schlepp a few growlers, mebbe more if i can convince others to bring panniers…

ParticipantI just did a flight at Meadworks the other day (thanks, Rumi!) and it’s mostly honey and flowers and stuff. And some habaneros.

ParticipantI have not yet had a vaccination, and I am being super cautious in the expectation that I will have a vaccine soon, so I will end my most pathetic FS since I first entered in 2015 (in terms of miles – I have very much enjoyed my Civil War fort excursions) by being with you guys in thought, and looking forward to when we all meet again.
