ParticipantHere is a good intro to everything that you need to know about finding DC boundary stones, which used to be an annual ride, first announced on this forum back in 2015 and organized by DC Boundary Stones, with great info links in the announcement below. The ride has lately been adopted by Gearing Up Bike Coop & Phoenix Bikes, among others, for late April until Covid-19 hit and the 2020 Ride was canceled.
It’s a metric century (100 km / 62 mile) ride if you do it all in one go, with lots of stop & go, and hills, FYI
Happy DC boundary stone hunting as some of them are well hidden, missing, or even buried 6 feet under landfill!

ParticipantA bunch of us Marylanders biked down into VA this morning to see the southern stone. We rewarded ourselves with croissants.

ParticipantAnd here’s my picture for the Southern DC Boundary Stone.
I know the route to the eastern stone, if anyone wants assistance with that one.

ParticipantI got my second and third boundary stones today. North and east. Apparently the east stone is far more ferocious– it has a much taller cage!
