The faceless cabal is asking for evidence about that fence & public access … an affidavit from the boathouse operator should suffice… given your past record of trying to bend the rules.

Here’s a shot of The Lake from Bethesda Terrace with the Boathouse in the background.

Is there water somewhere in that pic [emoji3166]?

Well, I wasn’t trying to get credit, just showing how hard finding the water can be.

Now that’s a “massive puddle,” and did it really measure 6” in depth in the middle? Regardless, it counts; +1 extra point!!!!

I was estimating based on my pedal going under water as I rode though.

Serdar Rule #2 requires the Lake and a bike to be in the pic; signage is above, beyond and appreciated, but not required. #lakefinderfail
Here’s an example that meets rule #2
I will offer you make up credit if you can recreate this exact same photo but using your own bike [emoji605]

Will do! Thanks for a credit!

Sorry consularrider but it’s a high bar for the faceless cabal to award points based solely upon effort in the absence of results

ParticipantAnother #lakefinder fail so Boomer can give me a hard time. There are three ponds located between the ConEd Learning Center and the Department of Purchase Warehouse (44th Ave and 44th Rd) on Vernon Blvd in LIC, Queens. Along Vernon there is a fence up so I couldn’t get a picture with my bike (and not readily accessible to the public). Once I get Turtle Pond in Central Park, I may have exhausted the “lake” possibilities on Manhattan Island.

That is a stunning region full of Great Lakes (no pun intended) worthy of further #lakefinding!
From my visit in early December to your same spot!Sent from Boomer_Cycles via my iPhone using Tapatalk
