#FS2019OOBcoffeeride #56. Sometimes a car needs service even if (or especially if) it never gets driven. On my ride home fro the Fiat/Chrysler dealer I stopped in Bockenheim at Bäckerei Burla for a Café Créme (their spelling) and a Buttercroissant, but didn’t have my camera with me.

#FS2019OOBcoffeeride #57. It rained all day and no tenía ganas. Aound 5 pm it finally stopped and I headed out to try and ride 2π for International Pi Day, but I went just a little bit too far. I stopped in Bockenheim at Back-Factory close to π miles and had a coffee and some sort of vanilla puddingish filled pastry. The at just past 2π miles I stopped at The Fieldhouse for CLO’s Pi(e) Day and had a small slice of Lemon (no meringue) pie. I did not take a camera with me since I expected a deluge at any minute.

#FS2019OOBcoffeeride #58. Another gray, rainy Frankfurt day. I rode to the Fiat/Chrysler dealer to pick up my car and stopped in Nied at Gabi’s Backstube as they reopended at 3 pm, just beating a troop of 15 elementary school kids in the door. I took my coffee and mini-Schokocroissant and mini-Apfelplunder outside to a bench.

I rode a paved loop through Hausen to Oberursel where I stopped at Der Bäcker Eifler in the pedestrian zone for coffee and a Himbeerschinke. Then I continued on to Bad Homburg and returned via Harheim.

#FS2019OOBcoffeeride #60. Windy and rainy, so a short loop that took me through Bockenheim where I stopped at Kröger’s Brötchen for a Schokocroissant und Café Crème. Camera is eating batteries again.

#FS2019OOBride #61. I headed to the CG to use the ATM and thought about a haircut, but the barber’s on vacation until 3/24. On the way home I stopped at the Café Marcella in Bornheim (a former Italian espresso bar and Eiscafé) and had coffee and croissant. The prefix Eis has been covered up by a Japanese flag. Again no photos since I didn’t take my camera with me. How about a teaser from Wertheim at the confluence of the Tauber and Main Rivers from a late afternoon ride?

#FS2019OOBcoffeeride #62, and we’re done! For the final day of #BAFS2019 I was riding most of Der Sportive route of Liebliches Taubertal. The morning started out with valley for, but most burned off as I was leaving at 9:30 am.

After Bronnbach I missed my turn and ended up mostly following Der Klassiker route which took me into Tauberbischofsheim where I stopped for coffee and an Apfeltasche at the Mocca Espresso Bar.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber, end of the ride, is in sight, only 300 more feet of climbing in the last two miles!
